PURPOSE: A method and a system are provided to improve the driving stability of a vehicle by tracing a phase of a motor regardless of the errors of a motor sensor. CONSTITUTION: A square wave output sensor(202) generates a square wave output corresponding to the phase of a three phase output voltage of a motor. A sensor error detector(204) generates a signal after detecting whether the three phase output voltage satisfies the square wave output condition of the square wave output sensor. A motor phase estimator(206) estimates the phase of the motor by receiving an error signal from the sensor error detector. |
