PURPOSE: An index abutment is provided to easily manufacture the abutment for patients by grasping a perpendicular angle and a horizontal angle of actual abutment connected to an implant, and a depth inserted into a gum after mounting the index abutment on a tooth model base of the patient. CONSTITUTION: An index abutment for manufacturing the abutment for patients comprises: a main body(11) which is manufactured in the regular length of a rod form with various angles; a coordinates detector(13) which is projected from one side of the upper part of the main body with a regular width and height and offers a standard deciding a built-in position coordinate of the main body; a circular bottom part(14) connected to a model implant inside of a tooth model base inside; a many-sided part(15) which is included on the circular bottom part according to a connection structure with the model implant; and a scale unit(16) which is included on the outer surface of the main body.
