METHOD FOR FRACTIONAL FREQUENCY REUSE WITH ORDERING TO INCREASE CAPACITY OF OFDM SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A fractional frequency reusing method with an ordering scheme is provided to improve performance of an OFDM system by reducing inter-channel interference. CONSTITUTION: Cells are classified as one or more types according to a cluster size. A dedicated sub channel set is allocated by a frequency division scheme according to the cell type. The type number of the cell is same as the cluster size. A process of assigning the dedicated sub channel set comprises the step of indexing all subcarriers of each cell by successive method. A process of assigning the dedicated sub channel set comprises the step of partitioning the all sub carrier into the 2M number of sub channel sets by operating M calculation with a module for a corresponding index number.
