A squeeze receptacle, particularly for holding a foodstuff (2), has a wall (6) with at least one layer. The cup has a removal opening (7) with an opening edge (8) and is closed at its end (9) located opposite the removal opening (7). At least the receptacle wall (6) is made of a two-dimensional blank that, for forming a continuous receptacle wall, is joined to itself. The aim of the invention is to provide a squeeze receptacle (1) of the aforementioned type that, while having a simple and cost-effective design and while preserving all the advantages of prior art receptacles, enables the inside of the receptacle to be inspected. To this end, the squeeze receptacle (1) is made, at least in part, from a transparent or translucent, in particular, liquid-tight and fluid-tight material that, for forming the receptacle (1), can be shaped and, after shaping, is dimensionally stable.
