PURPOSE: An IC card reader socket is provided to immediately ground the static electricity generated in a slot opening through a bracket by grounding the bracket to the circuit of the printed circuit board in the slot opening. CONSTITUTION: A nut(N) is fastened to a bolt(B) fixing a housing. A bracket(N-1) fixing a first elastic member(13) is formed in the nut in a body. An IC card is inserted into the opening of a slot. Static electricity generated in the opening of the slot is grounded by the bottom surface of a PCB through the bracket and the bolt. The bolt and the nut clinches a socket(30) on the PCB. A first elastic member is inserted into the hole of the bracket.
