OPTICAL FILM, AND POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation film in which a viewing angle characteristic is improved from a viewpoint of both contrast and color shift and which can be stably manufactured and further to provide a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display apparatus which have the optical compensation film.

SOLUTION: The optical film is characterized by comprising a support consisting of a cellulose acylate film, a first optical anisotropic layer consisting of a composition containing a liquid crystal compound and a second optical anisotropic layer containing at least one kind chosen from a cycloolefin series homopolymer and copolymer. Further the polarizing plate and the liquid crystal display apparatus which have the optical film are also provided.
