<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a maintenance support system for properly determining and describing a cause of a failure according to an operating state of a user. <P>SOLUTION: This control device includes a control means 1 for controlling a plurality of operation courses, and the control means 1 includes a non-volatile storage means 8 for storing the number of operations. When any one of the number of operations for each operating condition exceeds a predetermined value, the number of operations for each operating condition is changed by multiplying the number of operations by a predetermined coefficient, so that a plurality of data on the numbers of operations are stored within a certain storage capacity for each operating condition, and that the number of operations for each operating condition can be provided from the total number of operations and the operating rate of each operating condition.
