PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive safety device with a simple structure for large input load coming into a seat sliding part. SOLUTION: Cut-and-lifted parts 60, 61 for dispersing the load to an upper rail 22 by contacting a fitting member 75, when the load to the extending direction of a screw member is applied on a pair of right/left vertical walls 22b of the upper rail 22 arranged with a retaining member 30, are composed by bending a part of the vertical walls.
