PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that facilitates associating information being not included in print job data with a medium where a document to be printed is formed as an image.

SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus includes: a job data analyzing means for analysis of print job data to be input; a value acquiring means for acquiring the value of an item associated with a code creating command included in the print job data; a code creating means for creating the code of the value acquired by the value acquiring means; and a superimposing means for superimposing the code on an image corresponding to the print job data.
