<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can have longitudinal/lateral positions and an aspect ratio of an image set without any detailed operation, and a method of controlling the imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device has an imaging element 221 which outputs a subject image in the form of image data and an inclination sensor 227 which detects acceleration and/or angular acceleration applied to the imaging device, and changes the aspect ratio of a photographed image (#175) when the imaging device is swung in a vertical direction and also changes the longitudinal/lateral positions (#179) when moved around an optical axis of photography. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
