<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of incore equipment of a natural circulation type boiling water reactor capable of shortening a time required for installing the incore equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A core support plate template (simulated core support plate) is carried into a core shroud and installed in the core shroud. The core support plate template has the same size as a core support plate, and forms an access hole having a size accessible by an operator. A CRD housing is inserted through a stub tube provided on a bottom part of a reactor pressure vessel. Alignment of the axial center of the CRD housing is performed by using an alignment scope installed on the core support plate template. An operator entering a core bottom part under the core support plate template through the access hole welds the CRD housing to the stub tube. An ICM housing is similarly installed on the bottom part of the reactor pressure vessel. Thereafter, the core support plate template is dismantled. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
