<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner equipped with a deodorizing filter and a dust collection filter which have high performance and long filter life. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This air cleaner 10 includes a deodorizing filter 12 for removing gas components, a dust collection filter 11 for removing dust, and an air blowing fan 13 for feeding air to the filters. The deodorizing filter 12 is formed by regularly disposing a plurality of circular vent holes 20 in a plate-like molding formed by heat-molding a mixture of granular adsorbent 18 and granular thermoplastic resin 19, and aperture ratios of the deodorizing filter 12 are changed according to the velocity distribution of a passing air flow, smaller at a portion with a high wind velocity and larger at a portion with a slow wind velocity, so as to uniformize the velocity distribution of the air flow passing through the deodorizing filter 12.
