METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF GENE-TOXIC PROPERTIES OF NANO-MATERIALS

摘要

Method for evaluation of gene-toxic properties of nano-materials in vitro includes preparation of sample for investigation, choice and preparation of test culture of cells, treatment of suspension of culture cells in incubation medium with sample under investigation with following determination of level of damage of DNA with method “DNA-comet”. Sample fopr investigation is prepared in form of water dispersion of particles of nano-material with its dispersion in water or by means of synthesis of particles that by chemical composition and dimensions are identical to particles of nano-material. As test culture of cells one uses culture of cells of ovary of suan hamster SNO-K1. Treatment of cell suspension with dispersion of particles is performed with incubation during 0.3-48 hours.
