<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater successfully performing bath hot water supply while inhibiting a backflow of supplied water from a bath mixing valve to a hot water supply side. <P>SOLUTION: A bath hot water delivery pipe 11 includes a check valve 14 permitting only flowing to the bath mixing valve 10 side and inhibiting reverse flowing, and a solenoid valve 15 opened during bath hot water supply is provided in parallel with the check valve 14. The storage water heater includes a flow rate control means 19 for detecting opening/closing of the solenoid valve 15 and performing throttle control so as to make a water supply side flow rate of the bath mixing valve 10 correspond to a hot water supply flow rate on the check valve 14 side in the closed state during the bath hot water supply. Thus, even if the solenoid valve breaks down, during the bath hot water supply, undershoot and failure in setting of a bath set temperature at high temperature are prevented, so as to achieve successful bath hot water supply all the time and take permanent measures. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
