PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sheet for an extraction bag and a manufacturing apparatus thereof which are capable of manufacturing the extraction bag at high production rate while any string is not present at a seal part when manufacturing individual extraction bag from the sheet therefor. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the sheet 1A for the extraction bag in which tags 3 stuck to hanging strings 4 are arrayed at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of a water-permeable filterable sheet 2 includes (1) a step of forming an intermittent pattern of the tags 3 and the hanging strings 4 where the hanging strings 4 are fixed to the tags 3 on a rotating carrier 10, and (2) a step of sticking the tags 3 and the hanging strings 4 formed in the intermittent pattern to the water-permeable filterable sheet 2.
