<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion pump system which can improve the safety of infusion. <P>SOLUTION: The infusion pump system which infuses a certain drug at a predetermined standard infusion rate includes a drug container, a tube for leading out the drug from the drug container, and an infusion pump for discharging the drug through the tube. Based on a current discharging rate of the infusion pump and an infusion rate of the drug, the system calculates a new discharging rate of the infusion pump, which is then corrected by a predetermined correction coefficient, and controls the infusion pump to discharge the drug at the corrected discharging rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
