<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide bath apparatus with a bathtub, especially a foot bathtub, having a simple and inexpensive structure, effective for the health promotion of a user, and permitting comfortable and safe use by anyone at home or in facilities. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide bath with the bathtub, especially the foot bathtub, includes: a bathtub body 2 for storing hot water W in a hot-water storage part 3: a heat source pack 5 storing sodium bicarbonate 4 to be mixed in the hot water W and an exothermic agent 6 based on calcium oxide and aluminum powder to be disposed within the bathtub body 2; and a hot-water agitating circulation means 11 for agitating and circulating the hot water W within the bathtub body 2. The carbon dioxide bath apparatus is configured to heat the hot-water W to appropriate temperature with the reaction of the exothermic agent 6 and the hot water W and to agitate/circulate the hot water W within the bathtub body 2 by the hot-water agitating/circulating means 11 to generate carbon dioxide in the hot water W.
