First, an electric power is supplied from a source device (110) to the sink device (120). When the source device (110) wants to receive the electric power from the sink device (120), it transmits power delivery request information to the sink device (120). This is transmitted by using a reserve line of a cable (130), a power supply line, a CEC line, high speed bidirectional communication means, and the like. When the sink device (120) receives the power delivery request information, it supplies an electric power from the power supply circuit (126) to the source device (110). Because information about a requested voltage value and current value is included in the request information transmitted from the source device (110) to the sink device (120), the source device (110) receives the power of the required voltage value and current value from the sink device (120). |
