A device for measuring fluid produced by a substance, the device including: a) a container for holding the substance; and, b) a measuring apparatus, the measuring apparatus being in fluid communication with the container such that release of fluid from the substance displaces measuring fluid in the measuring apparatus, thereby allowing for the fluid produced by the substance to be measured.
