<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the improvement of task efficiency by extremely shortening the stop time of a service related with authentication processing in the case of performing the synchronization processing of authentication information stored in each server which performs authentication processing. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card authentication server 200 is configured to communicate with multifunction equipment 100 which accepts the input of authentication target information (for example, card ID information) from a user, and provided with a primary server 210 for storing first authentication information for carrying out authentication processing using the authentication target information and a secondary server 220 for storing second authentication information for carrying out authentication processing using the authentication target information. This IC card authentication server 200 is configured to perform processing for, in such a status that the primary server 210 is able to perform the authentication processing, making the secondary server 220 store the information of a portion of the first authentication information synchronously with the second authentication information, and to perform processing for, in a predetermined prescribed timing, completely synchronizing all the information of the first authentication information and the second authentication information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
