WATER CUT-OFF TAPE FOR SOLAR BATTERY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off tape for a solar battery module, excellent in initial water cutoff property and recoverability and maintaining the excellent water cutoff property and workability regardless of its use in an inverted C-shaped curved state.

SOLUTION: The water cutoff tape A for the solar battery module is interposed between an end of a solar battery unit 1 and an inner surface of a fixed groove 21 in an opposite support member 2 to be used in inserting and fixing the solar battery unit 1 into the fixed groove 21 in the support member 2. The tape includes an ether-based urethane resin foaming sheet A1 and a rubber-based tackifier layer A2 integrally laminated on one surface of the sheet A1. The thickness of the layer A2 is 5-30% of the entire thickness of the tape A.
