<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding nonwoven fabric, having sound-absorbing function and superior electromagnetic wave shielding properties, while excelling in flexibility and being rich in workability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding nonwoven fabric is the nonwoven fabric comprising a conductive layer and a sound-absorbing layer, and having constituent fibers combined by a thermally adhesive fiber. The apparent density of the nonwoven fabric is 0.02 to 0.2 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and its surface density is 150 to 2,000 g/cm<SP>2</SP>; the conductive layer contains a metal-plated synthetic fiber of 5 g/m<SP>2</SP>or more; and the surface density of the conductive layer is 5 to 150 g/cm<SP>2</SP>.
