The present invention relates to a method and system for supporting library management. The method comprises: a first step of searching for a book from a primary database connected to a book information server using the library management system that includes the book information server and a library management server, wherein the book information server stores data about new and previous books; a step for providing information about books retrieved in the first search step to a user's terminal connected to the library management system; a second step of searching for the book, which is selected from the books searched by a user, from a secondary database connected to the library management server to confirm information on the state of the selected book; and a step for providing the user's terminal with the confirmed information on the state of the book. |
