<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing lymphocytes applicable to adoptive immunotherapy. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing lymphocytes is provided, including a step of culturing lymphocytes or precursor cells thereof in the presence of a substance bindable to VLA-6. In the method, a laminin's fragment may be used as the substance bindable to VLA-6. Besides, a cell population containing the lymphocytes produced by the method is useful for treating cancer and/or infectious diseases.
