<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a composition for preventing the occurrence of locking in a photoreceptor or a transporting screw by preventing rolling-in of an agitating member which abuts against a transporting member even when the transporting member is used comprised of the screw which can be rotated forward and in reverse. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a blade member 16 which can scrape up transfer residual toner by making it abut against the photoreceptor surface which can carry a toner image and the transporting means 11 for transporting the toner that is recovered from the photoreceptor 1 by the blade member 16. In addition, the transporting means 11 includes a cleaning unit 6 provided with the agitating member 17 with elasticity which can be rocked corresponding to the rotation of the transporting means 11. In this case, the photoreceptor 1 and the transporting means 11 are in a linked relationship and the composition 15 is provided for maintaining the transporting means 11 in a stopped state and not linked to the photoreceptor 1 when the photoreceptor 1 is rotated in reverse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
