PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system that manages original authenticity on content, and traces its branch. SOLUTION: The information processing system includes: an original authenticity management server device for managing the original authenticity on the content and a content management server device. The original authenticity management server device includes: an original ID creating means for showing original content and copy content thereof; a copy number creating means for showing whether the content is an original or a copy for each original ID; an original authenticity information encrypting means comprising the original ID, the copy number and owner information; an original identifying means using the original ID and copy number; an original setting means using the original ID and copy number; an owner identifying means for each original ID; and a transition recording means for recording content for each original ID. The content management server device includes: an original authenticity information storing means for storing the encrypted original ID and copy number; and a meas for transmitting content transition information to the original authenticity management server.
