FLOW PREVENTION DEVICE FOR TURBO MACHINE SHROUD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a shroud for a turbo machine (10).

SOLUTION: The shroud includes one or more support structure body, and one or more inner shroud (20) disposed in a gas passage (14) of the turbo machine (10). The one or more inner shroud (20) and the one or more support structure body include one or more gap therebetween. The one or more gap alternate between one or more limited gap (64) and one or more non-limited gap (66), and form one or more pressure loss mechanism to reduce high temperature gas (48) flow in the one or more gap. The turbo machine (10) and a method for reducing suction of the high temperature gas (48) in the turbo machine (10) are also disclosed.
