PURPOSE: A blood sugar measuring instrument is provided to minimize that heat generated in a main body influences a temperature sensor by detachably connecting a measuring instrument to a main body. CONSTITUTION: A blood sugar measuring instrument comprises a main body member(10), a measuring unit(11), and a temperature sensor. An LCD panel(15) and a power button(12) are installed in the front of the main body. A mounting unit is formed in the upper end of the main body. A male connector is formed in the mounting unit. The measuring unit is installed in the mounting unit of the main body to be detachable. A strip inserting hole(13) is formed in the upper end of the measuring unit. The temperature sensor is arranged inside the measuring unit. An arm connector is formed in the bottom surface of the measuring unit.
