摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device having a narrow frame, in which material selection for at least a sealing material is flexible as well as a curing rate of the sealing material is increased, and the manufacture cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical device 1 includes a first substrate CF, a second substrate AR opposing to the first substrate, and a circular sealing material 2 formed on the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounding a display area 3. The sealing material is an adhesive containing a UV-curable component. The display area has a plurality of color layers; and each color layer exhibits a wavelength different from others, of the light which the color layer mainly transmits. In an area of at least one substrate CF in the first substrate and the second substrate, the area where the sealing material overlaps, such a color layer 9 is formed that transmits light in a shorter wavelength area than in the color layer that mainly transmits light at the shortest wavelength in the plurality of color layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
