PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To proliferate hyperthermophiles in a short time. SOLUTION: Hyperthermophiles are proliferated by the steps wherein a high-pressure tank 1 where an agitating flow is formed under continual high- speed agitation is charged with sundry germs existing in the ambience, cut straw considered as being stuck with minute hyperthermophiles by experience, a cow milk solution of brown sugar, and sawdust to proliferate psychrophiles; on finding a temperature rise in the tank 1, a chopped biological predatory material is put into the tank 1 followed by bringing the tank 1 in a closed condition and further raising the temperature inside the tank 1; as the temperature rises, fungi with the temperature of activity corresponding to the temperature inside the tank 1 are prolifrated, while fungi with the temperature of activity lower than the temperature inside the tank 1 are brought to death or activity halt, making an alternation of generations for fungi corresponding to the temperature range inside the tank 1 successively from psychrophiles, mesophiles, thermophiles, and hyperthermophiles, and finally, the temperature inside the tank 1 is raised to the temperature range enabling the aimed hyperthermophiles alone to be active.
