<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil recovery system which can improve energy efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The oil recovery system 1 includes a storage tank 2 for mixing adsorbing particles 3 capable of adsorbing oil 92 with wastewater 91 containing the oil 92 to make the adsorbing particles 3 adsorb the oil 92, a pyrolyzer 6 for desorbing the oil 92 adsorbed by the adsorbing particles 3 by the storage tank 2, a first cooler 8 for cooling and liquefying the oil 92a desorbed by the pyrolyzer 6, and an oil recovery tank 9 for recovering the liquefied oil 92a and supplying it as fuel.
