<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple clip unit easily mounted in a sheath and enhanced in maintenance properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The multiple clip unit 13 is composed of a plurality of hemostatic clip elements 17A-17C connected in a row and the multiple clip element 18 connected to the rearmost hemostatic clip element 17C. The hemostatic clip element 17 is equipped with clips 19A-19C and connection rings 20A-20C. The multiple clip element 18 is composed of the dummy clip 47 engaged with the rear end of the clip 19C and a connection member 48 for holding the dummy clip 47. A hook 57 is provided to the leading end of an operation wire 12 and a pair of elastic arms 53 are provided to the rear end of the connection member 48. The hook 57 is composed of a front hook 58 and a rear hook 59. When the front hook 58 is superposed on the elastic arms 53 to press the hook 57 in the diametric direction of the connection member 48, the connection member 48 is engaged with the hook 57.
