PURPOSE: An active and passive optical alignment method, an optical element packaging system using the same, and an optical module are provided to improve alignment accuracy by setting light which passes through a light wave guide from an external light source as an optical axis standard. CONSTITUTION: An optical element packaging system includes a substrate(100), an external light source(110), a pickup tool(120), and a camera(130). The substrate includes a light wave guide(102). The external light source emits light to the light wave guide. The pickup tool picks up a light source chip, a light detector, and an integrated circuit element. The camera aligns the light emitted from the external light source, the light source chip, the light detector, and the integrated circuit element. |
