The present invention provides a method and a base station for adjusting a downlink grant physical downlink control channel of a UE. The method comprises: receiving a signal transmitted on an uplink resource corresponding to a current downlink grant physical downlink control channel from the UE; judging whether or not the UE has received information transmitted on the downlink grant physical downlink control channel successfully in accordance with the received signal; and determining the number of CCEs occupied by the downlink grant physical downlink control channel and/or a transmission power of the downlink grant physical downlink control channel in accordance with the judgment result.
