PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that performs image processing in a method complying with a user's demand reflecting how each of a plurality of indexes regarding the performance of image processing is given importance by the user. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus receives priority information showing the importance of each of the plurality of indexes regarding the performance of the image processing from the user and then performs image processing that the user requests in a method determined according to the received priority information.
