<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device that reduces current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic disk device includes: a switching regulator 100 having a voltage converting part 110 performing voltage conversion by switching input voltage, a smoothing part 120 generating output voltage supplied to a load by smoothing the voltage converged by the voltage converting part 110, a control part 130 stabilizing output voltage by driving the voltage converting part 110 in accordance with difference between reference voltage and output voltage, and a reference voltage changing part 140 changing reference voltage in accordance with an operation mode of an SoC (System on a Chip) 20 controlling write and read operation for a magnetic disk 10 storing data magnetically; and the SoC 20 as a load which operates by receiving power supplied from the switching regulator 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
