<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for setting operational parameters capable of executing the operation while easily checking a setting state of each function without changing a sight line of a driver as much as possible by effectively using a limited display space. <P>SOLUTION: Switches to be operated need not be changed by the operation unit by operating the selection of the functions, the selection of operational parameters, and the mode change of the function selection mode and the parameter selection mode by a common input operator 15.
