<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating vessel for correctly determining boiling, regardless of the amount of water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating vessel includes: a vessel 17 for storing a liquid; a heating means (a boiling heater 22) arranged in the bottom of the vessel 17; first temperature detecting means (a bottom temperature sensor 24) arranged in the bottom of the vessel 17; second temperature detecting means (a lateral temperature sensor 25) arranged at the upper part on the outer side surface of the vessel 17; and a control means (a microcomputer 46) for controlling the heating means 22, based on the detected temperature Tb, Ts of the first and second temperature detecting means 24, 25, so as to perform boiling processing to heat the liquid. In the boiling processing, two processes are performed in parallel, i.e., a first boiling determination step of setting the first boiling completion time tr1, tn1, based on the detected temperature Tb of the first temperature detecting means 24; and second boiling determination step of setting the second boiling completion time tr2, tn2, mainly based on the detected temperature Ts of the second temperature detecting means 25.
