<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper holder in which the folded width of paper can be adjusted in a compact structure and proper folded width can be always maintained whether the width is long or short. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A doubling mechanism Q has the first guide wall 53 arranged at the front end of a paper receiving face 52 and the second guide wall 55 arranged at the rear end, the location of the second guide wall 55 can be changed in cross direction and the folded width of the paper, which is folded back and piled between both of the guide walls 53 and 55, can be changed and reset. Since the first guide wall 53 does not extend forward in the structure, safety is assured with the movement in a restroom in spite of the added doubling mechanism Q. Furthermore, the position of the second guide wall 55 is not changed even if a person touches it carelessly because it is in the back, then, the location of the second guide wall 55 which is established once, that is, the folded width of the paper is maintained, so that the usefulness is improved.
