GLASS ANTENNA FOR VEHICLE

A glass antenna for a vehicle is disposed in the upper margin of the anti-fog heating wire portion of the rear-end window glass of the vehicle and includes AM and FM broadcast wave receiving antennas. The AM broadcast wave receiving antenna comprises a plurality of spaced horizontal wires and at least two spaced vertical wires orthogonal to the horizontal wires and has a first feeding point that is located on a part of the uppermost horizontal wire between the vertical wires or located on a lead extending from that part of the uppermost horizontal wire. The FM broadcast wave receiving antenna extends from a second feeding point located above the uppermost horizontal wire of the AM broadcast wave antenna and further extends clockwise or counter-clockwise along a part of the outermost periphery of the AM broadcast wave receiving antenna to encompass the AM broadcast wave antenna in such a manner that the FM broadcast wave receiving antenna is very close to and capacitively coupled to at least a part of a horizontal wire of the AM broadcast wave receiving antenna.
