PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the reverse side of a connection device of a vehicle seat welded by laser to a member for connection to be visually recognized from the outside. SOLUTION: A reclining device 4 constituted as a connection device of a vehicle seat has a disk-like ratchet 10 integrally connected to a back frame 2f forming a skeleton of a seatback 2, and a disk-like guide 20 integrally connected to the cushion frame 3f forming a skeleton of a seat cushion 3. The ratchet 10 and the guide 20 are assembled to each other in a relatively rotatable manner, and a dowel 13 projecting to an outer plate surface side from the disk part 11 of the ratchet is formed on the ratchet 10. In the dowel 13, the back frame 2f is abutted on its projecting outer circumferential surface. When laser beam is applied to the surface-abutted part to execute the laser beam welding, the reverse side Wu of the welding bead W through the laser beam welding is exposed on the projecting outer circumferential surface of the dowel 13.
