PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a measuring system enabling to detect a wheel load more precisely. SOLUTION: The method and measuring system (3) for detecting a wheel load (RLb) are shown. At this time, the measurement values of deformation of tires (11) are detected. From this detected values, the wheel loads (RLb) to act on the tires is calculated using an equation and a parameter set of the equation. Further, from external system, the wheel load (RLb) or variables depending on the wheel load (RLb) to be used at the calculation of the wheel load are detected. Next, two wheel loads are detected by different methods. These wheel loads (RLb) is compared, and based on this comparison, equations and/or equation parameters are adapted.
