The present invention relates to a device (20; 40) for connection to a CAN-bus, comprising a first connection position (21; 41) and a second connection position (22; 42). The device comprises a controllable CAN-bus terminating component between the first and second connection positions, allowing the device to be correctly connected to a CAN-bus at a terminating position and at a non-terminating position.
