Apparatus for determining optical and spatial characteristics of an inclusion in a turbid medium using multiple-scattering optical tomography
摘要
The apparatus allows to determine the optical and spatial characteristics of an inclusion by simply observing the backscattered photon beams. In particular, the evaluation of the light intensity distribution for the backscattered photon beams enables the principal opportunity to use the apparatus for creation of miniature instruments for future applications in medical practice since the instrument can be designed similar to an ultrasonic head.
