PURPOSE: A washing machine and a washing method therefor are provided to reduce washing time by continuously supplying water in a rinse step. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a drum, a tub, a water supplying unit(180), and a controller(170). The drum accepts laundry. The tub is arranged on the outside of the drum and accepts the drum. The water supplying unit guides water from the outside and supplies the water to the drum and tub. The controller rotates the drum and is supplied with the water from the water supplying unit in a rinse step.
