FIELD: physics, nuclear. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing liquid radioactive wastes. The method of processing liquid radioactive wastes involves concentration of homogeneous and heterogeneous wastes, decantation, partial mixture of homogeneous radioactive wastes with heterogeneous radioactive wastes and mixture of the wastes with binder. The homogeneous wastes are mixed with heterogeneous wastes directly in the container for storing heterogeneous wastes by periodically adding portions of hot stillage residue at temperature 50-110C and holding for 3-16 days. In the periods between addition of hot stillage residue into the container for storing heterogeneous wastes, portions of ion-exchange resin and filter - perlite are also periodically added. ^ EFFECT: implementation reduces the required amount of bitumen compound and cuts its expenses on its storage and disposal. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex, 3 tbl |
