FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipeline accessories. The double-disk parallel pipeline valve with ram-type spindle consists of a case with branches-cheeks, of valve disks and of a cover with a packing unit. The valve disks are suspended on the spindle through a spring-loaded rod designed to move along the spindle within set limits. The rod lowers down and lifts the valve disks between the cheeks allowing insignificant cross displacements of valve disks during their pressure to the cheeks and release from the cheeks. As lowered valve disks approach the position opposite the cheeks, the rod sits on the stop in the case at valve closing and opening. The spindle is equipped with elements forming wedge mechanisms with tapers made on cervical side of the valve disks for perpendicular pressing and release of disks. ^ EFFECT: invention facilitates considerable decrease of weight and dimension characteristics of valve. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
