PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber reinforced material product which has a fiber base impregnated with matrix material over all and has improved surface designability. SOLUTION: A production method of the fiber reinforced material product comprises the following processes of: arranging spacers 4 between an upper mold 2a and a lower mold 2b in addition to the fiber base 12 when arranging the fiber base 12 in a molding cavity 8 of a molding mold 2; injecting matrix material into the molding cavity 8 while maintaining a distance between the upper mold 2a and the lower mold 2b at a first distance 16a; impregnating the fiber base 12 with the matrix material and, thereafter, heating and softening the spacer 4; and adjusting the distance between the upper mold 2a and the lower mold 2b to a second distance smaller than the first distance 16a and hardening the matrix material. Therein, the matrix material easily flows in the molding cavity 8 and, therefore, there is no unimpregnated part of the matrix material in the fiber base 12. There is no member of diffusing the matrix material between the inner surface 8a of the molding cavity 8 and the fiber base 12, and the surface designability of the fiber reinforced material product is therefore improved.
