<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head reducing the weight by thinning either one portion from a face central part to a toe-side face or a heel-side face and adapted to a golf club allowing a degree of freedom in adjusting the center of gravity. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club head 10 includes ribs extending in a substantially X direction, on the back face side of a metal face 11, or a shooting face of a golf ball, and the rib includes a center rib 20 disposed at the face central part, a toe-side rib 22 located toward the side of the toe 12 of the center rib 20, and a heel-side rib 23 located in the side of the heel 13. Each rib is so configured that the plate thickness is maximized at the central part, the plate thickness gradually decreases towards ends and the width of the rib becomes smaller towards the ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
