SCREEN DATA TRANSMITTER AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of characters and a mouse pointer in a screen transfer type thin client.

SOLUTION: This screen data transmitter includes: a difference detection step for detecting whether each of a plurality of blocks included in a first screen frame has difference that exceeds a prescribed amount from a block included in a second screen frame before the first screen frame and located at a corresponding position; a transmission step for compressively encoding data of a block in which a detection result of the difference detection step is affirmative and transmitting the data; a frame rate adjustment step for making a frame rate of a block while a keyboard is operated among blocks transmitted in the transmission step lower than a frame rate while a pointing device is operated; and a compression rate control step for making a compression rate of the block while the keyboard is operated among the blocks transmitted in the transmission step lower than a compression rate of the block while the pointing device is operated.
